The show kicks off with Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley fighting backstage. Superstars and referees are trying to pull them apart. The fight spills out on the stage. Rollins dives onto Lashley and they both fall off the stage. Lashley tosses Rollins from the floor back onto the stage. Rollins is pulled into the backstage area.
In Ring Segment: John Cena
John Cena says he isn’t going to be left out of WrestleMania this year. Cena is going to earn his golden ticket at the Royal Rumble. Cena officially enters himself into this year’s Royal Rumble match. Drew McIntyre walks out and says he has been waiting for this for years. McIntyre doesn’t care about who Cena shares his bed with or about Cena’s stupid haircut. McIntyre cares that Vince calls Cena the best of all time and about Cena’s 16 world championships. McIntyre says he agrees with Vince. Cena is the greatest of all time. Cena asks what McIntyre’s point is. McIntyre list all the people he has destroyed over the past few months. McIntyre says he is coming for Cena now. Cena says he was happy but now he is sad.
Cena is sad because he has heard the same thing from everyone in the back. Cena had to leave so they would be forced to think of another promo. Cena wants to know what makes McIntyre different. McIntyre says he is just going to show Cena. Lio Rush and Lashley walk out on the ramp and says they have a situation. Rollins has gone insane. If something isn’t done about Rollins they are going to sue. Rush says this show is canceled unless someone does something about Rollins. Rollins appears on the stage and attacks Lashley from behind. Dean Ambrose appears and joins the fight. Cena tries to help Rollins. Finn Bálor runs down the ramp and hits a sling blade on McIntyre. Bálor lands a topé to the outside that takes out everyone.
