In an interesting bit of news, the episode ends with the teaser that someone else had a phone that a countdown ticking on just as Cody, the Bucks and Hangman had when they confirmed they were going to launch All Elite Wrestling.
At the 18:10 mark, Kenny Omega is shown saying he lost his phone, which comes after a comment is slipped in about the group staying in touch via group messages. The end of the latest Being The Elite episode shows a phone laying face down near the Tokyo Dome, and the same ominous ticking sound can be heard. It may be a tease of Omega’s potential signing—or maybe just an obvious red herring to throw fans off—but anything is possible, as Chris Jericho’s graphic designer also posted gifs of a different countdown, which indicates that one should reach zero on February 1st.
