Baron Corbin received his largest comeuppance yet, this time in the form of receiving his own medicine due to the McMahon Family’s “new authority”.
The former acting general manager of RAW tried to plead his case to the entire McMahon family over of course of boos, to which the family egged them on. Corbin asked for his job back as the general manager of RAW and initially, the family would reject his request. After constant begging, Triple H and Vince McMahon decided that he deserves a chance if he would win his match. In cues Kurt Angle, who would be his opponent after months of feuding between the two. Stephanie would add the cherry on top by having Heath Slater as the special guest referee.
Midway through the match, Triple H would announce that the match has changed into a handicap match, adding Bobby Roode, Chad Gable, and Apollo Crews into the fray. Corbin would try to run away but it was all in vain as he was getting destroyed. Shane McMahon would pour more salt into the wound, announcing a No Disqualification match as Heath Slater stomped away on him.

A couple of chair shots and an Angle Slam later, Corbin was unmercifully defeated. As the crowd chanted “We Want Tables”, the group of faces obliged and brought out the lumber for Corbin, as Angle gave him another Olympic Slam through the table.
