USADA has issued a statement in the wake of confusion over the amount of publicly revealed drug tests that Brock Lesnar has been involved in since re-entering the testing pool, as reported by MMA Fighting. His number of tests went from six to five, which caused some speculation as to whether or not any tampering had been involved. Lesnar’s issues with failed drug tests stem back to his UFC 200 fight with Mark Hunt, which is why there are so many more eyes on him this time around.
“USADA updates the Athlete Test History page of the UFC/USADA website on a weekly basis,” the statement read. “During an update on the week of October 15th, we experienced a technical issue that resulted in the information on the page being displayed incorrectly. The correct test history for the athlete is 1 test, not 2. The issue has been fixed and the testing numbers on the website are all accurate. We are still investigating the specific technical issue that led to the error.”
So USADA is saying this ? was supposed to show 1 test count, not two. https://t.co/Tpu2eMyIwU
