The latest upload from NWA features Nick Aldis‘ title defense at WrestleCade against Jake Hager, as well as a confirmation of two more title matches for the NWA Pop-Up event next month.
As seen in the video, NWA National Champion Willie Mack will defend his title against Matt Cross, and NWA Women’s Champion Jazz will defend against Allie. Matt Cross is currently working as Son Of Havoc on Lucha Underground, while Allie can be seen on IMPACT Wrestling each week.
The NWA Pop-Up event is called New Year’s Clash and it is being co-promoted by Tried-N-True Wrestling in Clarksville, Tennessee. The show is scheduled for January 5th 2019, with Nick Aldis defending the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship against James Storm as the first confirmed title match for the event. Most recently, Aldis successfully retained his championship against Brian Cage at House Of Hardcore 52 in Philadelphia. The same event saw Mack retain his NWA National Championship (and House Of Hardcore Championship) over ‘Swerve’ Shane Strickland.
As it was originally announced by Billy Corgan, all three NWA championships will be on the line at New Year’s Clash, as well as the first NWA Crockett Cup matches.
