Two members of SoCal Uncensored are set to be free agents after the end of this year. The team is currently the Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions, but both Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian aren’t locked into 2019 contracts with the company. The news comes from this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required).
Dave Meltzer reports that both wrestling veterans have been offered new deals, but haven’t signed any. According to Daniels, he just hasn’t made a decision yet. This is an additional wrinkle to what is becoming a very interesting time period for professional wrestling as many of the wrestling world’s biggest stars outside the WWE are not locked into a contract beyond this year. No current member of “The Elite,” have a long-term deal, and the only recent long-term signing ROH has made is Flip Gordon for two years.
