According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE has signed Giancarlo Dittamo to join the company’s production team. Giancarlo has quite the extensive resume including working for CZW as a top writer and Championship Wrestling From Hollywood.
Giancarlo also had a hand in the marketing of Joey Janela as he ascended the independent wrestling scene.
According to this report, Giancarlo started working for WWE several weeks ago and was a part of their tour of Germany filming footage of their tryout. Below you can see footage from the Germany tryout:

It’s definitely an interesting signing that he’s a bit of a void that we don’t often hear about on the independent scene.
