Vince McMahon Ran The Gorilla Position During Evolution

A lot of people feel like WWE Evolution carried an NXT vibe to it and therefore assumed that Triple H probably ran the show from the gorilla position. However, a report has come out from Pro Wrestling Sheet that it was, in fact, Vince McMahon who ran the show from gorilla position as he would for normal WWE pay-per-views. In addition to Vince running the show, it is said that Stephanie McMahon was absolutely beaming with pride throughout the show and that backstage featured the likes of Vickie Guerrero, Christian, and Eve Torres in addition to producers like Road Dogg.

According to a live report sent to WrestleZone by a fan, Eve said she was scheduled to be featured in the Battle Royal but was not used in that capacity on-air. Eve did, however, work the kickoff show and was asked about the Battle Royal but declined it politely on-air.

It should come as no surprise that Vince McMahon ran the show from the gorilla position in my opinion because he’s still Vince McMahon and he is still alive and as long as he is,  I think he’ll run everything he possibly can for WWE.
