Shayna Baszler is excited about WWE’s latest international announcement.
RAW Superstar Shayna Baszler recently sat down with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. Baszler was asked for her thoughts on WWE’s Bash In Berlin premium live event that is coming to Germany next year.
“I’ve always said that the international crowds are always like a little bit different energy, a little bit crazier. I’m excited. It’s really been successful for us to do these international things when you look at all [the events], especially the past year or so,” Baszler explained. “The energy that international crowds bring, you see it translate into the show. I think it’s going to be awesome.”
Baszler has German ancestry, so is there more of an incentive to be on the show next year?
“If I’m being honest, I probably have family over there. I don’t have anyone that I keep in contact with that I know, but it’s just a cool [opportunity to go to Germany]. I haven’t been able to spend a lot of time in Germany,” she explained.
Icing on the Kuchen
Baszler says she’s looking forward to getting a chance to hang out and explore the country. That, she says, would be a great way to cap off her international trip.
“I know if it’s anything like any other PLE event, we get there ahead of time so that we can do appearances and media and stuff,” Baszler explained, “so we get a little bit of a chance to experience the city that we’re in. That would be icing on the cake for sure. But any chance I get to break people’s limbs in front of a big, excited crowd of people is good in my book.”
WWE Bash In Berlin will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany. Watch our complete interview with Shayna Baszler below:
