Bobby Roode vs. Drew McIntyre
Two of my favorite competitors will do battle for the NXT Championship, as Drew McIntyre looks to bring NXT back to the people. Bobby Roode does not want that to happen, hoping to reign supreme even longer in the ranks of NXT. How this match is booked will be very interesting because both men need to be protected moving forward. I really do not see Drew McIntyre winning the title just yet, but I also think Roderick Strong could be a guy that gets involved in this main event. They have made sure we do not forget his is lingering around.
The match will be great, there is no doubt about that. Both men are at the top of their games and have evolved their offense since debuting in NXT. Drew combined his impressive physique with an uncanny ability to use his lower body for more offense. Bobby Roode is the Randy Orton of NXT, calculating and able to ground his opponent with a few big moves. Then, Roode is able to dissect his opponent on the mat while pandering to the crowd. I am really excited to see how this match plays out.
The winner? I think that Bobby Roode somehow retains, but would not put my money on it. They have just tried so hard to keep Roderick Strong involved that I think he could potentially cost Roode the championship and have Drew McIntyre walk out of Brooklyn as the new NXT Champion.
