Killian Dain defeated No Way Jose
A decent main event featured a rust-less Jose against Dain. Dain had Jose in a submission hold before dropping him with a samoan drop and a big body splash. The pain did not stop from coming, as Dain lifted him on his shoulders. Jose battled out with elbows and punches, but Dain continued to fight back. An uppercut and chops to the chest from Jose set up an attempted Samoan Drop, but Dain threw him to the corner. A big roundhouse punch and Dain was reeling. Jose hit a TKO for a two count. Dain got to his feet and lifted him on his shoulders again, this time connecting with a big drop and the win. Sanity stands strong, thanks to Killian Dain.
This is a good performer in the ring and his agility was shown tonight more than ever. He is always going to rely on his strength, but I enjoy the rugged offense. Body slams and then a running dropkick are two great combinations for a guy like Killian Dain. Sanity was not at ringside, knowing he can take care of No Way Jose. Is this a sign that Dain may be in the mix for something more in the future? He passed the eye test tonight with flying colors. A younger (in NXT/WWE years and not actual age) and potentially quicker Bray Wyatt is what we have in this beast. The mic work isn’t there, but the ring work is. Both are 6’3″. Both are over 300 pounds. The similarities are there.
