The Debut of Drew Galloway
Al Snow and Grado have a decent match and then the BDC comes out to attack. This prompts the debut of Drew Galloway, who was McIntyre in WWE. I was happy to see him debut on TNA television Friday night.
I want to see him wrestle. Drew was misused completely in WWE. When his best feud was with Teddy Long, that is a problem. It was not his fault. (Snitsky voice) I love how aggressive he can become at the snap of a finger.
He has a natural look and a really smart mind for the business. He could use a little work on his mic skills, but I just think WWE limited him so much in what he can or can not say. When he was IC Champion, it felt like he could reach another level. TNA is a great fit for him right now. He gets immediate attention with some of their best talent. TNA’s talent pool gets richer and they could profit on an international guy like Galloway.
Taryn, Gail and Awesome Kong
The three Knockouts seem to be on a path of destruction. Terrell wins over Angelina Love and then gets taken out by Awesome Kong. Gail Kim appears and Kong walks off.
I am not sure where they are going with this. One on end, I can how they need to book Kong. Is it believable for either of the women to defeat Kong on their own? It is tricky to figure out what path they are going. Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell have had some great matches. Inserting Kong into the mix makes it unique. I just am skeptical to see what happens.
-Mickie James sells Bram vs. Magnus. I love the real-life angle they are trying to do here. James knows what to say and how to say it. Bram looks like he can be unleashed at anytime, which is a credit to his facial expressions and body language.
