This week’s Stars in Progress includes fallout from this week’s WWE Raw, Main Event and last week’s Smackdown. It also features the debut of a new segment – the Championship Round – where I briefly run down each main roster title and its progress each week.
STEP UP: Luke Harper
Luke Harper looks to be in line for a pretty serious singles push. I am on board with this idea 100%. The former Brodie Lee is an incredibly talented worker, and at 34-years-old (or 3 years younger than John Cena) WWE will need to utilize him sooner than later if they want to get some serious mileage out of him.
For those concerned about Bray Wyatt’s future, I don’t think Harper getting special attention will necessarily mean the others gets sunk. It’s more likely this is an attempt to make the entire Family look like a serious threat. A Bray face turn has also been rumored, but I personally think there’s more money in Harper becoming the break-out babyface, and Wyatt continuing to do what makes him excellent. If it ain’t broke…
Here’s the video package, if you haven’t seen it.
