Wrestlezone Top 10: Undertaker “Streak” Matches That DIDN’T Happen

#9  Umaga

file_185911_2_umaga_654635The Undertaker has made a career out of facing unstoppable giants and insane freaks of nature. The only reason most wrestling fans know the name Giant Gonzalez is because Undertaker existed to make him famous. King Kong Bundy? The nearly 7-foot Diesel? Kane? Big Show?

I’ve always thought Umaga could have been a much bigger star in WWE than he ended up being. That’s not to say his run wasn’t impressive, since he did in fact become a two-time Intercontinental Champion and have several high profile feuds. But since WWE is all about the ridiculous gimmicks, he was booked as a crazy, half-naked Samoan wrecking ball who needed a translator to interpret his insane gibberish.

But imagine a world where the 6’4″ Eddie Fatu, brother of Rikishi, cousin of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, weighing in at 350 pounds, was a legitimate professional wrestler who steamrolled his way through the entire roster for half a decade? Because that’s the kind of guy I’d like to see go up against The Undertaker, in a high profile WrestleMania co-main event.
