The August 27th episode of The Wrestling Crossfire will go down as one of the best shows in TWC history in terms of pure content. This show had everything from talks on Japanese wrestling to ROH to TNA to sports entertainment to WWE et cetera. It was filled to the brim with dicussion, interaction, interview, and overall, content.
To start off, Doug Nunnally announced the answers to the trivia contest and announced the lucky winner who would get to co-host a segment of the show next week. Doug even announced a huge bombshell about the contest’s future. From there, Doug took a stroll into the TWC Mailroom and answered the fans questions about TNA, WWE, stars he would like to interview, Chris Jericho’s future, what kind of wrestling he is watching, the future of The Wrestling Crossfire and more.
Following that, Doug gave a partial review of the WWE SmackDown! House Show he went to in the past week (click here to read Doug’s full House Show review) as he talked about how Batista was with the fans, the event itself, and the overall aura of it. Columnist of the Show followed next where Doug talked about one of the top columnists on the ‘net today and then Doug came in with the Shoot Stop on a very controversial topic: sports entertainment.
After the Shoot Stop, Doug interviewed former NWA World Tag Team Champion Lance Hoyt and they talked about a number of issues and topics including Kid Kash, TNA, Chris Candido, WWE, Hoyt’s recent success, his match with Abyss, his future, his indy career, and loads more. Hoyt went in depth on a lot of issues in this interview and gave you, the fans, a chance to pry into his head like no one has been able to yet.
A Summerslam review (click here to read Doug’s full Summerslam review) came next and he talked about the Bret Hart teaser, the main event, the horrid title matches, the amazing undercard, and everything associated with Summerslam. Doug then finished up the show with talk about Credit: TheWrestlingVoice.com’s future projects and contests and then gave a preview for next week’s show.
From reviews to rants to interviews to marking out, this episode of The Wrestling Crossfire was one that will not be easily forgotten. It had more content on it than any show out there today and it shows why it is among the elite in wrestling radio shows today. What are you waiting for?
