It’s almost time for WWE RAW after SummerSlam!
Tonight’s edition of the red brand will take place at the CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore. Superstars slated to appear include Jey Uso, Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre, Liv Morgan, Lyra Valkyria, and Finn Balor.
Here’s what’s on tap for 8/5 Monday Night RAW.
New Day vs. AOP
Kofi Kingston was taken out by Karrion Kross previously on WWE RAW. Xavier Woods tried to avenge his tag team partner against The Final Testament but failed. Woods even tagged with Otis and Tozawa against Kross and Authors of Pain only to lose to the trio.
Tonight, the New Day reunites to take on AOP in tag team action. Can Kingston and Woods put an end to the nightmare that is The Final Testament, or will Kross and his stable stand tall once again on the red brand?
SmackDown stars take on WWE RAW tag team
A-Town Down Under had a bit of a bump on the road at SummerSlam 2024. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller tried to interrupt Jelly Roll only to get wrecked by Awesome Truth and their celebrity guest.
WWE announced that Theory and Waller will be on RAW this week to take on The Miz and R-Truth in tag team action. Will A-Town Down Under get their payback for this past Saturday’s humiliation, or will Awesome Truth prevail?
Dakota Kai vs. Sonya Deville
Damage CTRL took a beating from Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark weeks ago on WWE RAW. However, the trio were shocked to witness the return of Dakota Kai, IYO SKY and Kairi Sane last week on the red brand. The two teams collide this week to see who’s better.
Wyatt Sicks in-ring debut on WWE RAW
The Wyatt Sicks turned the WWE Universe upside down on 6/17 RAW. Uncle Howdy and his twisted friends left a trail of destruction in their wake. The faction would spend the following weeks targeting Chad Gable while giving fans a glimpse into their origin.
After Gable figured out Howdy’s identity, the Alpha Academy star got The Creed Brothers to take care of his business. However, Dallas would only laugh in the face of pain and misery, much to the trio’s shock.
The feud picked up momentum after Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan and Joe Gacy unmasked themselves before a physical confrontation with the Creeds setting up a six-man tag team match for 8/5 WWE RAW.
Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser
Ludwig Kaiser broke his rib during a spot also involving Sheamus and Bron Breakker. The former Imperium member watched from the sidelines as Sheamus battled his way through Pete Dunne and Bronson Reed. Tonight, Kaisesr returns to singles action as he takes on the Celtic Warrior on WWE RAW.
CM Punk & Drew McIntyre to appear on RAW
Drew McIntyre had the last laugh this past Saturday. The Scottish Warrior beat CM Punk in a match that involved plenty of shenanigans. For those who haven’t watched, click here to read the full match result.
McIntyre said post-match he was done with Punk. Both men are set to appear on RAW though it isn’t confirmed (at the time of this writing) if they’ll share the same ring. Punk will probably be featured in a segment with Rollins to pick up their angle from SummerSlam.
Gunther speaks after World Title win
Gunther achieved the biggest prize on Monday Night RAW at SummerSlam 2024. The Ring General defeated Damian Priest to win the coveted World Heavyweight Championship. Click here to check out the full match result.
