Dwayne Johnson, better known as “The Rock,” has had a highly successful career in the world of professional wrestling and entertainment. Today, Johnson is one of the most recognizable names in all of Hollywood.

The Rundown
The Rundown is the oldest film (and perhaps most underappreciated) on the list and it still holds up to this day. The Rock plays a bounty hunter named Beck that must travel to Brazil to track down his boss’ son.
The Rock and Seann William Scott are a great duo that really play well off of each other. The cast is rounded out by Christopher Walken, Rosario Dawson and Ernie Reyes Jr. If you want a little thunder and lightning combo, The Rundown is right up your alley.
Fast Five
Not only is it one of The Rock’s best movies, but it’s arguably the best film in the entire Fast & Furious franchise. Johnson’s Luke Hobbs added a new dimension to the series and he proved to be popular enough that he got a spinoff (Hobbs & Shaw) alongside Jason Statham.
Moana
Moana is one of The Rock’s best roles to date, and he doesn’t actually spend any time on-screen at all. Instead, he lends his voice to the demi-God Maui, who helps the titular character on her journey. “You’re Welcome” is a highlight of the soundtrack that really shows off his singing skills.
Moana is so beloved and successful that it is now getting a live-action remake.
Central Intelligence
Dwayne Johnson starred as Bob Stone (aka Robbie Weirdicht), a former overweight high school student turned CIA agent. The opening scene featuring a CGI’d Johnson singing En Vogue’s “Never Gonna Get It” is a riot, and the laughs continue from there.
Central Intelligence is The Rock’s first project with frequent collaborator Kevin Hart, and it is a great entry in the buddy comedy genre.
Jumanji
The Rock’s Jumanji movie (aka Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) had a lot to live up to. This film served as an indirect sequel to the 1995 Robin Williams film. Johnson plays played Dr. Smolder Bravestone in the action-comedy blockbuster. Johnson once again teams up with Kevin Hart, as well as Karen Gillian and Jack Black.
The film not only honored the lore of the original film, but it also did its own thing and updated the original board game to a video game. This Jumanji film was successful enough to earn a sequel, and a fourth film in the franchise is being planned.
