#2.) Cedric Alexander
Cedric Alexander is another star who sometimes feels like he’s a homegrown WWE talent. That’s simply how much progress he made nearly three years with the company. It all started with his show-stealer against Kota Ibushi at the Cruiserweight Classic. The Full Sail crowd chanted “Please sign Cedric”, and the rest, as they say, is history.
He would make waves as a Cruiserweight star, quickly establishing himself as a fan favorite. At WrestleMania 34, he would have his moment, becoming Cruiserweight Champion. In fact, his one-year run until he lost the title was one of the strongest runs, with Alexander picking up many wins and never even getting pinned.
