#1.) Lesser involvement of authority figures
For the last few years, WWE has given a lot of emphasis on the McMahon family and the authority figures. To their credit, they’ve toned it down quite a bit, and on SmackDown Live, it’s virtually non-existent. Sure, you have the McMahon family running both shows, but the fact of the matter is that they’re just props to further a storyline between two other superstars.
SmackDown will have an even lesser presence of authority figures, and that’s going to be a great thing in the long run.
