Can you believe that 2016 was the last time that NXT had a Takeover at Full Sail University? Perhaps that’s why it was called “The End”. The Revival had their rematch against American Alpha, and fans believed that The Revival was going to lose for sure and move up to the main roster.
They would top their first match with American Alpha, which was a classic in itself. After a grueling bout featuring some of the best tag team psychology you’ll ever see, The Revival ended up beating American Alpha and becoming the first-ever 2-time NXT Tag Team Champions.
