#3.) vs DiY – NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II
After finishing their feud with American Alpha, two-time NXT Tag champions The Revival found themselves with an even bigger challenge. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, who were a fairly recently formed tag team at the time, beat The Revival in a non-title match. This made them the instant number one contenders for the tag team titles, and the second edition of NXT Takeover: Brooklyn was where it was all set to go down.
The Revival and DiY proved to have incredible chemistry and their first match was as tight and tense as you could imagine. The Revival used dirty tactics to prevent DiY from winning, and after an incredibly close contest, they would end up retaining the titles by the skin of their teeth.
