While Bobby Roode certainly can’t be described as a larger than life character, he certainly felt that way in NXT. It was clear quite early on that he’s a natural heel and in NXT, it stayed that way. For reasons unknown, he was brought up to the main roster as a babyface and stayed that way, seemingly hampering his potential.
But fans who have followed Roode for years know that his greatest moments came in TNA. It’s only expected as he did spend a whopping 12 years with the company, longer than most superstars. In that time, he established himself as one of the company’s top stars, ending his run as a two-time world champion.
It’s very likely that he would have stayed on had he not been too expensive for Impact Wrestling at the time. Either way, from his Beer Money run to world title accomplishments and eventually jumping ship to WWE, Bobby Roode certainly hasn’t had a career that can be called “Forgettable”. Let’s take a look at his greatest moments as a performer.
