Dolph Ziggler has been around in WWE a lot longer than people realize. Not many people know this, but Ziggler signed with WWE in 2014! As we all know, he would have a run with the Spirit Squad as Nicky, where he was briefly involved in high profile feuds such as Vince McMahon vs Shawn Michaels.
However, a group of male cheerleaders was never really going to go far and he went back to OVW, where he was repackaged as Dolph Ziggler. Since his re-debut in 2008, he’s come a long way. He’s gone through various personas, most famously being “The Showoff”. Over the years, he garnered multiple championships (including two world titles) and he also got the reputation of being a show stealer. You knew that every time he stepped in the ring, he was bound to steal the show.
The issue he faced was that he would make his opponents look too good. His masterful bumping skills worked more against him than for him. But with that said, the evolution of his character and his body of work makes him a surefire Hall Of Famer.
