The Watch List takes a look at what matches you should be watching and they come recommended by today’s professional wrestling stars.
WrestleZone recently spoke with The Gunns, who believe their match against Jurassic Express really solidified that they would make a formidable team in AEW.
Colten: “I would say even though this is legit me and Austin’s first ever TV match together was against Jurassic Express for the tag titles, main event of Rampage. 15 minutes. If you go back and watch it, it’s really, really good. We didn’t come out victorious on that one, but I really enjoyed that match and it showed how well me and Austin worked together. It was a learning experience obviously because when the second time came around to win those titles, we didn’t fumble it this time and we won them. But that’s probably the match I would say.”
Austin: “Knowing what I know, I don’t take things personally a lot because I know there’s a lot of hate for us in this business, whether it comes behind the scenes, whether it comes from the fans. Seeing us in a position of success and us not failing as second-generation wrestlers gets under a lot of people’s skin, but knowing what I know now about what Dax said about us after having so much respect for them at first, I wish I had another opportunity to go back and have that first FTR match again knowing what I know now about what they said about us. I don’t think we’ll ever get that experience again. I think we held our own in that match, but knowing what I know now about what they actually feel about us, I probably wish I could go back and do that match differently.”
