WWE SmackDown saw a decrease in viewership on April 25 for their first show following WrestleMania 41.
According to Wrestlenomics, SmackDown averaged 1.599 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.51 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode, when an average of 1.741 million viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week’s show (0.55 rating in the same demographic).

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?
This week’s show kicked off with a back-and-forth promo between John Cena and Randy Orton. A match is set up between the two men at Backlash.
Zelina Vega defeated Chelsea Green to win the WWE Women’s United States Championship.
Elsewhere on the show, Aleister Black made his long-awaited return to WWE by hitting The Miz with Black Mass.
In the main event of the evening, the Street Profits defeated DIY and Motor City Machine Guns in a TLC match to retain the WWE Tag Team Titles.
