Last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw was a special Day 1 edition. It was the first episode of the new year. During the weekend, Triple H teased the return of a former WWE Champion. It turned out that the former WWE Champion was the Great One, The Rock.
Initially, the fans were upset as the former WWE Champion who made his return was The Modern Day Maharaja Jinder Mahal. As he was dissing the fans and the entire nation of The United States of America, the infamous “If You Smell…” theme song played. Then out came The Rock to a loud pop.
After laying the SmackDown on the Modern Day Maharaja, The People’s Champion had one last thing to say to the fans. He mentioned that he would have a nice dinner in San Diego and asked where the fans would like him to sit. One of the options he gave was ‘the Head of The Table.’ This yet again got a loud pop from the crowd.
Unless you are living under a rock, you certainly know that the Head of the Table in WWE for the past three years is Roman Reigns. He is currently the Undisputed Universal Champion. For a long time fans wanted to see Reigns wrestle his cousin The Rock in a one-on-one match. Now, with what the Great One had to say on the Day 1 edition of Raw, it looks like the fans’ wishes could be coming true.
Following the segment, The Tribal Chief reacted to what his cousin had to say. Reigns didn’t say much, all he shared was the laughing emoji.
The Rock also ran into Becky Lynch backstage.
