Tiffany Stratton is confident ahead of her match against Becky Lynch.
Lynch appeared on the September 5 episode of WWE NXT. There, she announced that she will challenge Stratton for the NXT Women’s Championship on the September 12 episode.
Speaking on the September 6 episode of WWE’s The Bump, Stratton shared her mindset ahead of her buzzworthy match with Lynch.
“I’m very confident,” Tiffany Stratton said. “But I also know that Becky is one of the best of all time. She’s one of the best wrestlers in the female division. I have to say that this is definitely one of the biggest matches of my career, but also my career began two years ago, and Becky’s coming after me. So I have to say that I’m very confident going into this.
Stratton subsequently called herself the fastest-rising star in WWE, and she shared her belief that Lynch should be “shaking in her boots.”
“I am the fastest-rising star within WWE right now, [and] I think I have a lot of the different components that it takes to be a top women’s wrestler in WWE. Becky should be scared about that. I think I bring a lot to the table, [and] I think the stuff that I do in the ring speaks for itself, and she should be shaking in her boots right now.”
Tiffany Stratton Wants To Be The Greatest NXT Women’s Champion
Tiffany Stratton was also asked to describe how she intends to be the greatest NXT Women’s Champion. She noted that she’s taking it day by day, but facing Becky Lynch is the first step.
“I think I will take it day by day. I think I am still learning along the way, now I’m going to do that, but I am a firm believer that I will do that,” Tiffany Stratton said. “The first step is what’s going to happen next week against me and Becky.”
Stratton also noted that she knows there will be a lot of eyes on her when she faces Lynch. With that in mind, she stated that she’s determined to prove that she’s ready for this opportunity.
