WWE is loading up the card for the September 12 episode of WWE NXT.
With NXT No Mercy approaching on September 30, Wes Lee and Ilja Dragunov will clash in a number one contender’s match. Lee and Dragunov traded words on September 5 before NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes revealed that they will face each other.
Plus, The Global Heritage Invitational will continue as Tyler Bate takes on Axiom, while Nathan Frazer faces Akira Tozawa. It will mark Bate’s first match in the tournament. As of this writing, Frazer has 2 points, Axiom has 1, and Tozawa has 0.
It has also been confirmed that The Creed Brothers will take on Edris Enfoe and Malik Blade as both teams are looking to get one step closer to a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship.
As previously noted, Tiffany Stratton will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch in the main event.
