All Elite Wrestling’s Bandido will be out of action for a while due to a recent injury.
Bandido broke his wrist in a match against Konosuke Takeshita during a taping of AEW Rampage in Washington, DC, last month.
The All Elite Wrestling star took to Instagram this week to reveal he had surgery to repair his injury and made the following (translated) statement:
“GRACIAS!!! THANK YOU!!!! ARIGATO!!!! In good times and bad times they have given me their love with a full hands and I will never forget that!!! Now to recover! I promise to pay you back in the best way FIGHTING FOR YOU ALL!” Bandido said in a post.
Depending on the severity of the wrist injury, he’ll likely be out of the ring anywhere from six weeks to four months.
