#1.) Bobby “The Brain” Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon‘s Christmas bickering
It’s hard to argue that Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon was the greatest commentary pairing in WWE history. The fact that their characters were such polar opposites made it all the more entertaining. They hosted a program called Prime Time Wrestling, and the very best of it was the Christmas edition, where Heenan and Monsoon were constantly bantering throughout.
The segment was comedy gold and Monsoon berating Heenan for putting up the Christmas decorations late, and Heenan saying that he was helping underprivileged children was absolutely hysterical. It was a true gem of the Golden Era and a reminder of how much the two late, great legends entertained us.
