According to PWInsider, Aleister Black will not be cleared in time to compete in the NXT Takeover Brooklyn IV event. Black recently underwent surgery for a groin injury, although initially it was thought that he’d be back in time for the major NXT Championship match. Now, however, it seems as if we could end up seeing Johnny Gargano vs Tommaso Ciampa for the title as opposed to the triple threat match.
UPDATE: Pro Wrestling Sheet is now reporting that Black will be out of action until October.
