World of Sport Wrestling have confirmed that their return to the big screen last night brought in almost 1.2 million viewers on ITV, making it the highest-rated British wrestling show in more than three decades. WOS was one of the most popular shows during its initial run many years ago, with last night’s premiere episode of the new season seemingly being a big success. Stu Bennett, formerly known as Wade Barrett in WWE, played a general manager role whilst Rampage Brown won the WOS Championship in the main event.
