Number One Contender Match: Bobby Lashley vs Roman Reigns
Reigns decks Lashley after avoiding a takedown. Huge clothesline by Reigns. Reigns sends Lashley to the outside. Reigns sends Lashley back into the ring. Lashley catches Reigns with a clothesline. Lashley sends Reigns over the top rope. Reigns uppercuts Lashley as he is trying to get out of the ring. Reigns tries the drive by but Lashley catches Reigns and belly-to-belly suplexes him on the floor. After the break, Lashley destroys Reigns with a massive spine buster. Reigns manages to kick out. Lashley surfboard stretches Reigns. Lashley transitions into an armbar. Reigns and Lashley clothesline each other at the same time. Reigns and Lashley punch each other over and over again. Reigns hits the rope but Lashley leaps over him. Clothesline by Lashley. Reigns tries to dump Lashley on the outside again. Lashley lands on the apron Reigns hits the ropes but Lashley somehow clotheslines him from the outside of the ring.
Lashley charges at Reigns. Reigns sends Lashley to the outside. Reigns leg drops Lashley as he tries to get back in the ring. Lashley kicks out. Reigns call for the Superman Punch. Lashley counters it into a full nelson. Reigns starts to fade, fast. Reigns backs Lashley into the corner. Reigns lands a few elbows. Lashley drops Reigns with the complete shot. Lashley puts Reigns in what looks like a modified Anaconda Vice. Reigns breaks it by rolling into a pin. Lashley charges at Reigns and runs right into the ring post. Reigns clotheslines Lashley in the corner ten times in a row. Reigns hits the ropes. Lashley recovers and power slams Reigns. Reigns kicks out at two and a half. Lashley sets up a Spear. Lashley goes for it but Reigns knees Lashley in the head. Reigns gets a near fall. Lashley decks Reigns. Reigns bounces off the ropes and hits a Superman Punch! Lashley kicks out. Reigns hypes up the crowd for the Spear. Lashley rolls out of the ring. Reigns tries a Superman Punch off the steps. Lashley avoids it. Lashley tosses Reigns back into the ring. Reigns lands on his head. Lashley Spears Reigns. Reigns kicks out! Reigns hits the Superman Punch. Spear by Reigns. It’s over.
Winner- Roman Reigns
After the match, Reigns and Lashley shake hands. On his way up the ramp Lashley drops to his knees and punches the ramp in frustration.
