On how he matches up against someone like Brian Cage:
DX: Cage’s athleticism is remarkable. For someone his size who can hit a moonsault like an X-Division star is ridiculous. Not to mention he can throw an X-Division star from one end of the ring to the other. That is something that you really have to prepare for. I’ve done a lot of research on what he can do and has done. I look forward to putting forth what I have in my little bag of tricks.
On what we should expect during the number one contenders match with Brian Cage at Under Pressure:
DX: The unexpected. That’s all you should expect.
On if he has looked past Cage and started scouting X-Division champion Matt Sydal:
DX: I have been scouting Matt Sydal since I was a kid. I’ve been watching him for a long time, so he has taught me a lot. Not just from watching him but from the experience I have had sharing a locker room with him throughout my career. Once I do have the opportunity to stand across the ring from him one-on-one for the X-Division championship it will be a moment I will truly cherish and it will be a moment I will live up to and make the most of.
On what his ultimate goal is in Impact Wrestling and what he needs to do to reach it:
DX: I want to leave behind a legacy that will go on for a very long time. I know in order for me to do that I have to beat the best and maintain a level higher than what others may feel is the norm or my feel is extraordinary so I continue to stand out and showcase what I can do. That’s something I will continue to strive for and work for. I refuse to settle for anything less.
