AND NEW! DJZ and Andrew Everett are the new Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions after they defeated Eli Drake and Scott Steiner on tonight’s show.
The team, collectively known as ‘Z&E’ won the titles after Steiner accidentally hit Drake with a chair. Following the miscue, Everett hit a Shooting Star Press to pick up the win. This is the first tag team title reign for DJZ and Everett, and it is Everett’s first title reign of any kind in Impact Wrestling. Drake and Steiner’s title reign ends at 25 days; this was Drake’s first tag title win and Steiner’s second with the company.
