Rey Mysterio is set to make his WWE return at the company’s ‘Greatest Royal Rumble’ event in Saudi Arabia later this month.
According to a report by PWInsider.com, Mysterio is confirmed for the event after being on WWE’s radar for a return ever since he appeared in the 2018 Royal Rumble match in Philadelphia this January. It was said that while Mysterio and WWE have been in talks recently about a full-time return to the company (outside of the confirmed Saudi Arabia appearance), it has not been confirmed yet if the two sides have agreed on terms.

According to previous reports, Mysterio and WWE couldn’t reach an agreement about a return due to the company wanting him to return full-time, while Mysterio wanted something more limited.
The WWE Greatest Royal Rumble will air on WWE Network on Friday, April 27th.
