The Undisputed Era won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and retained their NXT Tag Team Championship after getting some unexpected help from Roderick Strong.
Undisputed Era, who not only weren’t supposed to be in the tournament, but had Adam Cole subbing for Bobby Fish due to injury, won the match after Strong turned on his teammate Pete Dunne in the closing moments of the match. Dunne had Kyle O’Reilly beat after The Bitter End, but Strong ran in and kicked him before hitting End Of Heartache, and pulled O’Reilly over to make the cover.
Following the match, a visibly surprised O’Reilly and Cole were elated when Strong put on one of their armbands to join the group. The trio then met Fish on the top of the stage and celebrated with the Dusty Cup.
