NXT
Following his big title announcement, William Regal confirmed Adam Cole, Velveteen Dream, Lars Sullivan, Killian Dain and Ricochet will also compete in the North American Championship match at NXT Takeover: New Orleans.
Regal was asked by Cathy Kelley about who else would join EC3 in the match, and Regal said Cole would be the second man announced. Velveteen Dream then approached Regal and wanted a spot in the match, and after listening to his pitch, Regal agreed.
Later, Regal offered Sullivan a spot in the match after he defeated John Silver on tonight’s show. Sullivan accepted, but also said he wanted a shot at Killian Dain, and Regal said he was in the match as well. The end of tonight’s show saw Regal introduce Ricochet as the final entrant in the match.
The NXT North American Champion will be crowned in a six-man ladder match at Takeover next Saturday night.
