Zelina Vega might have showed up for tonight’s NXT Championship contract signing in place of Andrade Cien Almas, but Aleister Black brought back up in the form of Candice LeRae.
Black listened to Vega run him down initially, then told her to shut up and moved the contract signing table out of the way so he could sit. Black said now he was on Vega’s level, and she ripped into him again, but Black made a couple jokes about her being short. Vega slapped him, but Black just signed the contract and said he’s glad Vega is here alone, because he isn’t.
This cued Candice LeRae, who ran from backstage and went right after Vega in the ring. Vega tried running, but Candice attacked her all around the ringside area, and slammed her on the commentary table. Vega ran back in the ring, but Candice hit a springboard bulldog to end the show.
