According to live reports from tonight’s NXT TV tapings, WWE will introduce a new title — the ‘North American Championship’.
William Regal came out to make the announcement in the ring, and said the inaugural champion would be crowned at NXT Takeover: New Orleans. EC3 cut him off and made his “debut,” saying it was nice of Regal to create a title to give to him on his first night. EC3 said he would bask in this moment, but Regal informed him nobody is handed anything here, and he would be one of six men competing in a ladder match for the title at Takeover.
