Tommy Dreamer Critiques Rousey After RAW Performance

Former WWE and ECW superstar Tommy Dreamer took to Twitter yesterday to critique the in-ring delivery of former UFC champion Ronda Rousey who hit a Samoan Drop on WWE executive Stephanie McMahon in the opening segment of this week’s ‘RAW’.

The maneuver has been around pro wrestling routines for some time, but the soon-to-be-Wrestlemania performer did get some fire on her performance from some fans online as well. From this fan’s perspective, it looked pretty smashing and it was a pop-out-your-chair moment.

Roman Reigns continued to make lightly veiled shots at his Wresltemania opponent, WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar  with a Twitter post today. The former WWE Champion emphasized that was on RAW “Every Week’. This continues the narrative of Reigns firing shots at Lesnar’s limited-date schedule as his current contract with WWE winds down.

Meanwhile in the road to ‘Mania, Lesnar is scheduled to perform in a non-televised match at Madison Square Garden in New York City on March 16th.   

WWE and Reigns are doubling down in the ‘bring reality into the ring’ concept of Lesnar’s current in-limbo status with the company following Wrestlemania. It’s also intriguing as Lesnar currently holds one of the big championships. The ‘Big Dog’ is certainly getting more of a cohesive positive reaction from fans with these shots that he has taken at ‘the Beast.
