James Ellsworth has posted the following on Twitter thanking WWE for allowing him to make his surprise return to the independent pro wrestling scene last night for Destiny Wrestling:

During the show Ellsworth made his surprise return as a entrant in Destiny’s first-ever Santino Cobra Cup. Ellsworth would go on to win the match and earn a Destiny Championship shot.
The main event featured WWE UK Champion & Destiny Champion Pete Dunne facing Impact Wrestling World Champion Austin Aries. During the match Ellsworth attempted to cash in his title opportunity but was instead given a Tombstone by Dunne.
