WWE 205 Live Poughkeepsie, NY Results (1/21): Nia Helps Enzo Retain Again, Ali v Daivari MOTN, More

Thank you to Big Donnie B for the following results and insight from last night’s WWE 205 Live event in Poughkeepsie, NY:

I went to 205 Live’s second show after attending the Lowell event the night prior. The place was also a near sell out with a really impressive crowd. I’d say like the night prior, they drew at least 900-1000 people, though they weren’t all seated a tbell time. Crowd was very hot once again, but not quite as hot as Lowell.

• Hideo Itami def. Jack Gallagher. A little more of a house show match this time.
• Akira Tozawa def. Drew Gulak. The power point presentation was included this time. Drew Gulak was furious someone asked “Where’s Clippy?”
• Matt Hardy def. Bray Wyatt. Bray was really enthusiastic tonight after the crowd being so into him two times in a row. Better than expected.
• Mustafa Ali def. Ariya Daivari. Maybe match of the night. Ali is incredible.
• Kalisto and Gran Metalik def. Tony Nese and TJP. Kalisto was mega over. Metalik is incredible.
• Enzo Amore def. Cedric Alexander. Nia Jax did the same finish as last night as the guest referee.

Overall, both shows were great. The wrestling was better on night two, but the crowd was slightly louder on night one. Both crowds were electric though. Tons of kids who had a lot of Kalisto and Enzo Amore merchandise, but also were bigly into Tozawa and Ali. Adults seemed to really be into Cedric and Hideo. Great shows, I just wish the main event wasn’t so samey.
