Updates On The Futures Of Several Recently Released Impact Wrestlers

• Bobby Lashley
  • Lashley is said to have his, “pick of the litter,” in regards to where he would like to wrestle next
  • Is not interested in a full-time pro wrestling schedule
  • There was bad blood with WWE when he departed but it is possible both sides could move past it
  • Is not currently factored into Bellator’s Heavyweight Title tournament
• Ethan Carter III
  • Asked for his Impact release in November
  • Gets along very well with Scott D’Amore and Don Callis and is said to be leaving on excellent terms
  • There are already “suitors” in place for where he will wrestle next
• Laurel Van Ness
  • WWE’s interest in signing Van Ness has accelerated since showing her range as a character in Impact over the last year
  • Would not be surprising to see her sign with WWE in 2018
• Chris Masters
  • Is done with Impact Wrestling
  • A WWE run, “isn’t in the cards”

They also note that morale backstage in Impact right now is high. The wrestlers seem to be working well with D’Amore and Callis and there is a lot of confidence in them.
