Daniel Bryan confirmed The Usos would defend their Smackdown Tag Team Championship against Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin in a two out of three falls match at the Royal Rumble.
Gable and Benjamin came to the ring on tonight’s show, seeking justice for what happened to them on last week’s show. They blamed the referees for making a bad call, but Daniel Bryan came out and said he took issue with them questioning the decision. Bryan said the truth is the wrong Uso was pinned since he wasn’t the legal man, and the referee’s decision is final. Gabel continued to question Bryan’s decision and asked if they had to beat The Usos twice… and Bryan said that’s exactly it and booked the two out of three falls match for the Royal Rumble.
