SEVENTH MATCH: Suzuki-gun (Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr., Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr.) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Michael Elgin & War Machine (Hanson & Raymond Rowe)
Suzuki attacks Tanahashi to start and Suzuki-gun in its entirety beat on the beloved New Japan stars. They beat on Michael Elgin as well.
In the ring, Rowe & Sabre pick up where the left off at Wrestle Kingdom, but Archer quickly gets in and beats down Rowe. Archer stomps away on Rowe and then chokes him on the top rope. Suzuki locks in a rope-assisted Armbar on Rowe. Sabre gets in and works over Rowe’s arm as well. Davey Boy Smith tags in and takes control of Rowe, while Tanahashi gets assaulted by Suzuki at ringside. Rowe hits a powerslam but the hot tag is blocked by Minoru. Archer tags in and hits a tandem body slam with Smith for one. Archer cleared the apron but Rowe hits him with Shotgun Knees. Rowe tags in Elgin and Elgin throws Zack Sabre Jr around. Huge corner clothesline from Elgin, and he attempts a suplex, but Sabre reverses into a Rear Naked Choke, transitions into a facelock but Elgin reverses with a suplex. Powerbomb from Elgin gets two.
Elgin hits clotheslines but Sabre fights back with kicks to Big Mike’s arms. After a reversal sequence, Elgin hits a huge lariat. Sabre locks in a front facelock. Rolling Prawn Hold gets two. Sabre hits a PK. Smith tags in and hits a huge boot. Elgin powers away from Smith and hits an Enziguri. Suzuki smashes Tanahashi’s knee with a chair at ringside.
Hanson tags in and hits a huge sideslam on Smith, followed by a big splash. Corner clothesline from Elgin, Shotgun Knees from Rowe, Hanson smashes Smith and gets two.
Suzuki and Tanahashi tangle in the ring and Suzuki immediately locks in the leg lock. Elgin and Smith battle. Rowe and Archer battle. Rowe hits a huge knee strike on Archer. Sabre locks in a triangle choke on Rowe but it gets countered. War Machine attempt Fallout but Archer hits a Chokeslam on Rowe. Hanson hits a cartwheel clothesline. KES hit Killer Bomb on Hanson for the pinfall.
WINNERS: Suzuki-gun.
After the match, Suzuki attacks Tanahashi’s injured knee and holds the Intercontinental Championship, flanked by Suzuki-gun.
Tanahashi is helped out of the ring.
EIGHTH MATCH: Los Ingobernables de Japon (Hiromu Takahashi, BUSHI, SANADA, EVIL & Tetsuya Naito) vs. CHAOS (Hirooki Goto, Yoshi-Hashi, Gedo, Will Ospreay & Kazuchika Okada)
Ospreay & Hiromu start with a frenzied exchange of strikes. Ospreay feigns a suicide dive. Hiromu blocks the Oscutter but gets hit with a Springboard Forearm. Everyone fights Hiromu. Gedo tags in and hits a series of punches but Hiromu and BUSHI grab Gedo’s beard. Everyone brawls.
Takahashi chokes Gedo in the corner and tags in BUSHI. BUSHI chokes Gedo with a towel. BUSHI locks in an STF. Naito tags in and he grabs the booker’s beard. Dropkick and BUSHIroonie. SANADA tags in and hits the Raintaker with an Axe Handle but the pin is broken.
Naito whips Okada into the barricade in the outside while SANADA ties Gedo into a knot in the ring. Hiromu and BUSHI double team Gedo. Hiromu hits a dropkick. EVIL tags in but Gedo gets the hot tag to Goto. Goto knocks down EVIL and then suplexes BUSHI onto EVIL. Lariat and bulldog from Goto gets two.
Goto goes for Ushiguroshi but EVIL reverses. EVIL hits a senton for two. Goto powers out of a Fisherman Suplex but gets hit with a series of strikes. Hot tags and Okada and Naito are trading blows. Okada gets hit with a dropkick but responds with a Flapjack. Bodyslam and Okada climbs to the top but Naito fights back and hits a corner dropkick.
Naito hits a Neckbreaker on Okada After a series of reversals, Naito attempts Destino but Okada reverses into the Cobra Clutch. After this wild sequence, Yoshi-Hashi tags in. Goto and Hashi double team Naito and then all of CHAOS gets their licks in on the isolated Naito. Everyone brawls.
Naito reverses a powerbomb and Yoshi-Hashi reverses a tornado DDT. Yoshi-Hashi hits Western Lariat and a Sitout Powerbomb for two. SANADAlocks in Cold Skull but Ospreay breaks it up and gets a superkick for his trouble. Everyone brawls more. Atomic Drop/Clothesline/Rollup from EVIL and Naito gets 2. Naito hits Destino on Yoshi-Hashi for the pin.
WINNERS: Los Ingobernables de Japon.
After the match, you guessed it, everyone brawls. LIJ hit their finishers on CHAOS. Naito lifts up Okada by the hair, and SANADA hits TKO followed by Cold Skull.
Naito cut a post match promo but was interrupted and attacked by Chris Jericho. The two were pulled apart by the Young Lions. Jericho trashed the Japanese announce table. Naito threatened Jericho with a chair and then turned his back on Y2J.
