Ohno locks in a cravat. Aichner escapes and transitions into an armbar. Ohno hip tosses out of the hold. Aichner knocks Ohno’s socks off with a sick European uppercut. Ohno responds with a kick that sends Aichner tumbling out of the ring. Ohno lands another boot. Ohno attempts a dive by Aichner moves out of the way. Ohno flips over the ropes and lands on his feet. Aichner catches Ohno with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Ohno rolls out fo the ring. Aichner springboards off the top rope and splashes Ohno. Delay vertical suplex by Aichner. Ohno kicks out. Small package for a near fall by Ohno. Ohno tries a Lou Thez Press but Aichner catches him and power slams Ohno to the mat. Aichner misses a double jump springboard moonsault. Ohno levels Aichner with a clothesline followed by a shotgun kick. Ohno locks in another cravat. After a few knees, Ohno takes Aichner over with a cravat plex, shades of Chris Hero (lol). Ohno hits a cyclone big boot for the pinfall victory.

Backstage, McIntyre says anyone who wants a shot can have one. Strong is the first one who stepped up. This will be McIntyre’s first title defense but it will not be his last.
