GFW Global Title Match: Eli Drake (c) w/ Chris Adonis vs Matt Sydal
Drake floors Sydal with a shoulder block. Drake takes a moment to spell his name… you know, because why not? Drake forces Sydal into the corner. Drake tries to spell his name then punch Sydal but Sydal decks Drake. Roll up by Sydal for a near fall. Drake argues with the referee. Sydal lands a few leg kicks. Cradle by Sydal for another near fall. Sydal dives off the top but Drake catches Sydal and drives him back first into the corner. Vertical suplex by Drake. Drake floats over into a pin. Sydal gets his shoulder up at two. Sydal hits the ropes but Adonis grabs his foot. Sydal baseball slides Adonis. Drake hits a reverse power slam for a near fall. After a short break, Drake is elbowing Sydal on the apron. Drake grabs a chair then drops it when the referee notices. Drake tells the referee he that he was just kidding. Back in the ring, Sydal lands a jaw breaker but Drake responds with a body slam and the Drake-bow for a near fall. Rear chin lock by Drake. Sydal misses a corner splash. Drake floors Sydal with a leaping neck breaker. Sydal kicks out at two. Drake chokes Sydal with the bottom rope.
Drake tries to slam Sydal on the floor but Sydal counter and sends Drake into the ring post. Knife edge chops by Sydal. Drake pokes Sydal in the eye. Drake rolls Sydal into the ring. Drake stomps out Sydal. Sydal surprises Drake with an O’Connor roll but Drake reverses it into a slam. Drake charges in but Sydal gets a boot up. Back body drop by Sydal. Sydal combo by Sydal. Sydal gets another near fall after a standing moonsault. Drake goes up top but Sydal hurricanranas Drake off the top. Drake kicks out. Ax kick by Sydal. Sydal goes up top but Drake cuts him off. Sydal manages to hit a flying double knee strike for another near fall. Adnois tosses a chair into the ring. The referee tosses it out of the ring as Adonis slides the Global title into the ring. Drake tries to hit Sydal with the belt but Sydal ducks and hits a high knee for another near fall. Sydal mounts the top rope for the shooting star press. Adonis gets on the apron. Sydal elbows Adonis to the floor. Sydal sets up the shooting star again but Drake hits him in the head with the belt. Drake hits the Gravy Train for the win.
