In Ring Segment: Jim Cornette
Cornette thanks everyone for watching the show. Cornette lauds all of the great competition in GFW. Cornette hypes the Eli Drake/Matt Sydal title match later tonight. Cornette says if he was a betting man he would put his money on Sydal tonight. Before Cornette can leave, Johnny Impact interrupts him. Impact asks Cornette for the winner of the title match tonight. LAX comes to the ring in force. Low-Ki looks as if someone has run over his dog. Cornette says they aren’t supposed to be out there. Konnan tells Cornette that Cornette lied and Impact that he is getting a shot because of white privilege. Cornette says Low-Ki is in line just like everyone else. Low-Ki isn’t being held back because he is Latino and he isn’t getting and breaks because he is Latino. Low-Ki goes nuts and tells Impact that this isn’t WWE or Lucha Underground. This is GFW *expletive deleted*. Impact decks Low-Ki. A huge brawl breaks out. Security breaks it up.
Backstage, Cornette screams that Impact and Low-Ki will face each other in a number one contender’s match next week.
Joesph Park and Grado are talking about Laurel Van Ness being Canadian. Park tells Grado that marrying LVN will just make his citizenship situation worse (how Sway?). Grado tells LVN that the wedding is off. LVN turns around and almost loses it. She says she is ok. Grado high fives her and walks way. LVN loses it and smushes her makeup.
