McIntyre tries to go outside to retrieve Roode. The referee stops McIntyre for some reason. McIntyre dives over the top onto Roode. McIntyre grabs Roode and pulls him back into the ring. McIntyre calls for the Claymore once again. Roode reverses it into a spine buster! Roode picks up McIntyre for the Glorious DDT but McIntyre counters it into a pin. Roode kicks out. Roode hits the ropes and hits a tilt-a-whirl Glorious DDT! McIntyre somehow kicks out! Roode picks up McIntyre and hits another Glorious DDT. Instead of going the pin, Roode picks McIntyre up for another Glorious DDT. McIntyre counters with a headbutt. McIntyre hits the Claymore out of nowhere for the win!
Winner and NEW NXT Champion, Drew McIntyre!
After the match, reDragon appears on the apron. McIntyre turns around and Adam Cole attacks him. Fish and O’ Reilly hold up McIntyre and Cole superkicks him. Fish, Cole, and O’Reilly stand over McIntyre’s fallen carcus.
